Chetroşica Veche este un sat în componenţa oraşului Cupcini, raionul Edineţ. Satul are o suprafaţă de 2,5 kilometri pătraţi şi este situat la o distanţă de 10 km de oraşul Edineţ, la 4 km de staţia de cale ferată Brătuşeni şi la 192 km de Chișinău. Conform datelor recensămîntului din anul 2004, populaţia satului constituie 817 oameni. Prima atestare documentară a satului Chetroşica Veche (cu numele Piatra) datează din anul 1431.
