Satul Mincenii de Jos este situat la o distanță de 27 km de orașul Rezina și la 83 km de Chișinău. Conform datelor recensămîntului din anul 2004, populaţia satului constituia 377 de oameni. Satul Minceni a fost atestat documentar la 25 februarie 1604.
