Merenii Noi este un sat şi comună din raionul Anenii Noi. Merenii Noi este unicul sat din comuna cu acelaşi nume. Localitatea se află la distanța de 20 km de orașul Anenii Noi și la 15 km de Chișinău. Conform datelor recensămîntului din anul 2004, populaţia satului constituia 1512 oameni. Satul Merenii Noi a fost menționat documentar în anul 1885.
