Chiurt este un sat subordonat administrativ oraşului Cupcini, raionul Edineţ. Localitatea este aşezată în valea rîului Ciuhur, la 20 km de oraşul Edineţ şi la 182 km de Chişinău. Conform datelor recensămîntului din anul 2004, populaţia satului constituia 828 locuitori. Satul Chiurt a fost menționat documentar în anul 1774.
